Grace Callaway took her first dance class in the fall of 2004, through Sierra College. This Modern Dance class, taught by Lovie Bucknell, inspired her to branch out to Jazz, Ballet, and Hip Hop through the Sierra Dance Institute. Her dance is also supplemented by other physical training. She has her black belt in Kung Fu San Soo, under Master Robert Phillips. Grace has also taken gymnastics classes through Stellar and Rising Starz, and is a part of AirAligned, the local aerial dance company. While her dance history is short, she has already had many amazing teachers. Lovie Bucknell, George Jayne, Tresa Honaker, Barbara Seibert, and the dancers from the Lineage Dance Company, have been some of the most influential of these wonderful people. “Many thanks to all the teachers and friends I have found in the local dance community.”
